Innovate East is a joint innovation event between Anglian Water and Essex & Suffolk Water, bringing together 1500 people over three days to tackle the most pressing challenges facing the water industry, our region and society.

As part of this event we’re running two Hackathons tackling the subjects of water network resilience (avoiding customer disruption resulting from extreme weather events like the 2018 'Beast from the East') and leak detection (extracting maximum value from our new IoT network sensors), with prizes for both.

This is a fantastic opportunity for data science experts to demonstrate their capabilities, learn new skills and network with some of the industry’s key stakeholders.

As always, the hack is just the start! We want to turn the best ideas into reality – fast!
